Job summary

DO & CO group is hiring a dedicated Dishwasher in Des Plaines, IL. You will handle unloading, washing, and organizing all dishware and equipment to maintain kitchen workflow.

The role requires stamina, the ability to work long hours on foot in varying temperatures, and the flexibility to cover nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include medical options and participation in a 401K plan for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Unload and sort flight trolleys and equipment by class and type into plastic bins.
• Wash/run all dirty equipment through the dishwashing machine.
• Ensure temperature gauges are reading the correct temperatures.
• Stack and sort clean equipment according to company specifications and moving all washed articles into the respective areas.
• Clean drains and machines at end of shift and sanitize dishwashing machine and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Unload and sort flight trolleys and equipment (plates, bowls, trays, silverware and more) by class and type into plastic bins.
• Wash/run all dirty equipment through the dishwashing machine
• Ensure temperature gauges are reading the correct temperatures
• Stack and sort clean equipment according to company specifications and moving all washed articles into the respective areas
• Clean drains and machines at end of shift and sanitize dishwashing machine and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Supportive Functions

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of DO&CO.

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Keep items separated, organized, and in good rotation
• Follow all company guidelines regarding cleaning and sanitation.
• Other duties as assigned.
