Job summary

DO & CO group in New York seeks a detail-oriented Potwasher to join the team. You will operate dishwashing equipment, clean and sanitize surfaces, and help transport supplies while maintaining strict sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant industry or similar role.
• Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven track record of completing tasks within tight deadlines.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work; days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations and procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate large electric machines, including dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces as assigned.
• Sort and dispose of trash and garbage in designated containers; steam clean or hose garbage cans in assigned areas.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas while adhering to safe lifting standards.
• Assist with the loading, unloading, and delivery of supplies and products.
• Maintain compliance with all sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards outlined by company policies.
