Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Post-Partum Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Albuquerque, NM. Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with weekends required. You will care for mothers and newborns, monitor conditions, administer meds, and provide breastfeeding support.

Responsibilities include postpartum assessments, medication administration, patient education, discharge planning, and collaboration with care teams. Licensure, BLS, and NRP required; Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license.
• 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with charge experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP required.
• Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic.
• Ability to float within similar units (NICU, LD, ANTE).

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments on postpartum mothers and newborns.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as needed.
• Provide education to parents regarding newborn care, feeding, and safety.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in condition.
• Assist with breastfeeding support and education.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
