Job summary

Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
- State NM or Compact NM license required.
- BLS certification required at time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive postpartum care for mothers and newborns, including assessments and monitoring.
- Educate parents on infant care, breastfeeding, and self-care postpartum.
- Assist with initiating and supporting breastfeeding and addressing challenges.
- Monitor for postpartum complications and intervene as needed.
- Assess newborns for jaundice, feeding issues, and health concerns.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; respond to emergencies promptly.
