Abbott Northwestern Hospital, part of Allina Health, is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Post Partum/Nursery area. Under RN supervision you will provide personal care, assist with mobility, and help ensure a safe, comfortable environment for mothers and newborns.

This 0.5 FTE position offers day/evening shifts, every-other weekend, and opportunities to float within The Mother Baby Center. CNA-certified applicants or those with clinical rotations or Allina’s academy preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years of age or 17 years with high school diploma or GED.
• Must have CNA program completion or clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program or Allina Health Nursing Assistant Academy.
• Previous direct patient care experience.

Aufgaben

• Assists in delivery of patient care under RN supervision.
• Performs personal care such as feeding, bathing, dressing and mobility.
• Collects and documents vital signs and health observations.
• Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges and post-mortem care.
• Ensures safety and uses equipment properly; reports hazards.
