Job summary

Allina Health's Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis is seeking a Part-time RN for the Postpartum unit. The 12-hour shift rotates days and nights, with a 30-hour workweek and every 3rd weekend requirement.

The unit features a Level 1 newborn nursery and a collaborative team focused on high-quality maternal-child care. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's or Vocational degree, with RN licensure in MN (or WI upon hire), BLS/NRP certs, and 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RN license in MN (or WI upon hire) with BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs and planning of care.
• Coordinate and delegate to ensure safe, effective care.
• Maintain competencies and apply evidence-based nursing practice to obstetric patients.
• Support and participate in charge/preceptor roles as needed.
