The Registered Nurse of Maternity Services at Manchester Memorial Hospital delivers high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care in the postpartum unit, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support maternal and newborn recovery.

This part-time, day-shift role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, CT RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/NRP within hire period; maternal-newborn experience preferred with growth opportunities within Hartford HealthCare.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Connecticut.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required upon hire or within one year.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive assessments and re-assessments of maternal and newborn conditions.
• Educate patients and families regarding pain management.
• Develop and revise individualized plans of care based on assessments.
• Document nursing processes and responses to care in a timely manner.
• Provide accurate reports of patient conditions for safe transfer of care.
