Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Maternity/OB unit at Milford Regional in Massachusetts. This part-time day-shift position (6:45 am – 3:15 pm) offers a competitive starting range and a signing bonus may be available.

The role requires active MA nursing licensure, BLS, and area-specific certifications within specified timeframes. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, patient assessments, discharge planning, and coordinating care in a high‑quality OB

Qualifications

Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
BLS through AHA or ARC is required for every RN within 30 days of hire.
ACLS through AHA is required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
PALS through AHA is required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
NRP Advanced Provider through AAP is required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.

Responsibilities

Utilize the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
Perform patient assessment/reassessment per standard procedure.
Develop and coordinate individual plan of care including discharge planning.
Direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate nursing care within the assigned setting.
Delegate appropriately following job description and competency level.
Document patient care as per standard procedure.
