Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington RN License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
• 1 year nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collects pertinent assessment data from patient, family, and care team and interprets to identify needs and problems.
• Develops and revises an individualized care plan with measurable outcomes.
• Evaluates patient response and documents changes in condition and interventions.
• Uses the nursing process to teach and deliver patient care; documents teaching.
• Prepares for discharge/transfer and documents the process.
• Delivers care based on physiology and nursing principles; prioritizes by acuity.
• Communicates with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers; acts as patient advocate.
