Job summary

Endeavor Health - Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Postpartum/Antepartum unit. The role is part time (16 hours per week) with shift hours 1500-2330 and a float requirement across Evanston locations.

The position involves assisting the RN with patient care, performing vital signs, EKGs, catheter care, and other duties to support patient safety and comfort. Prior CNA training or nursing rotations are preferred, with BLS required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred.
• Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider.
• Inpatient PCT or maternal child health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN in delivering patient care on the Antepartum unit.
• Perform vital signs, EKG, specimen collection, and basic patient care tasks.
• Assist with patient care plans and discharge preparation.
• Support safety initiatives and promote high quality patient experience.
