Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Postpartum Unit in Evanston, IL. The role supports RNs, monitors vital signs, assists with procedures, and helps implement individualized care plans while floating to units as needed.

The ideal candidate will have CNA training or nursing clinical rotation experience, and BLS certification; inpatient PCT or maternal health experience preferred. This full-time position includes weekend rotations and a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• Educated to perform basic patient-care tasks under RN supervision.
• Experience or training in vital signs, EKG, and specimen collection is preferred.
• Inpatient PCT or maternal-child health exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN in delivering patient care on Antepartum unit and perform tasks like vital signs, EKG, catheter removal, and routine nursing duties.
• Contribute to care planning and ensure adherence to patient-specific care plans.
• Float to various Evanston Hospital units as needed and support safe, high-quality care.
