Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is hiring a Patient Care Technician (Antepartum Unit) for full-time 32 hours/week. Shifts 2300-0730 with weekend rotation; float to all Evanston Hospital units as needed.

You will work under RN supervision, assist with vital signs, EKGs, specimens, and discharge prep, and support patient-specific care plans. Qualifications include CNA training or nursing rotation, current BLS, and inpatient PCT or maternal health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA training or nursing rotation completed.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Inpatient PCT or maternal child health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN in delivering patient care on the Antepartum unit.
• Support vital signs, EKG, Foley removal, specimen collection, bathing, turning and hourly rounding.
• Assist with care plan implementation and discharge preparation.
• Contribute to unit safety and high-quality patient experience.
• Float to other Evanston Hospital units as needed.
