Job summary

Wilen Group seeks a Postal Operations Coordinator to support USPS mailing workflows and direct mail production. You will verify data, monitor performance, and coordinate Mail.dat processing and postage accuracy across batches.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Experience with a Mail Service Provider (MSP) in direct mail is required.
• Hands-on experience with Mail.dat processing: review, validation, submission workflows.
• Strong knowledge of USPS systems (BCG, PostalOne! Dashboard) and ability to monitor mailing activity.

Responsibilities

• Follow supervisor directives and company management directives.
• QC Mail.dat (eDocs), generate/print tray tags and pallet flags; adjust dates and permits.
• Produce pallet flags for skids and tags for trays.
• Zip down Mail.dat from Mail.DB for PostalOne! upload.
• Suppress records and split Mail.dat files as needed.
• Run Mail.dat through Postage.DB to verify postage against internal systems.
• Prepare postage breakdowns and combine presort batches into one Mail.dat for QC/Upload.
• Update Entry Lists in folders and assign/optimize Entry Points.
• Produce EP reports for shipping freight estimates.
