Job summary

Data-Mail is seeking a Mail Processing Manager to lead the plan, organize, and optimize the finish mail processing operations at our Windsor, CT facility. You will drive efficiency, oversee warehousing and distribution, and ensure on-time mail fulfillment across shifts.

The ideal candidate has 7-10 years of supervision in mail processing, strong postal knowledge, and proven ability to manage postage accounting, scheduling, and vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree plus 7-10 years of supervisory experience in mail processing or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of postal regulations and outbound mail processes.
• Experience managing scheduling, logistics and postage accounting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct the overall activities of the mail-processing group to ensure maximum operating efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Provide strategic insight to ensure mail processing enhances the company’s future growth and competitive advantage.
• Keep current with industry technological trends that may enhance the operations and/or profitability of the company.
• Coordinate movement of outbound mail with Consolidator for dropship, and manage relations with outsource partners and Data-Mail.
• Manage the daily mail schedule and distribution to ensure on-time processing and proper handling of on-hold mail.
• Ensure accurate closeout of jobs and proper billing documentation with postal and vendor partners.
