Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Post Surgical Unit. You will participate in postoperative patient care, manage pain, and assist with ambulation and discharge planning.

The role requires Texas RN licensure, BCLS/ACLS certification, and strong communication. This position offers nights, with a 3x shifts per week schedule, and opportunities for professional growth in a leading orthopedic and spine care facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
• Current Texas RN License.
• Current BCLS, ACLS.
• PALS recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide all nursing care services for post-surgical patients in a manner aligned with accepted standards of care.
• Ensure high-quality and safe delivery of patient care, and maintain compliance with professional nursing standards and regulations.
• Care for patients from 2 years old to geriatric populations.
• Collaborate with surgeons and post-acute caregivers to ensure seamless continuity of care from pre- to post-op.
