The Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Surgical Unit to deliver high‑quality post‑operative care. You will monitor patients, manage pain, promote safe ambulation, and coordinate with surgeons and post‑acute teams to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Texas RN License.
• Current BCLS and ACLS; PALS recommended.
• Minimum 2 years clinical RN experience in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU.
• Strong ER experience preferred and 1 year orthopedic nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for post‑surgical patients per standards of care.
• Ensure highest quality and safe patient care; comply with Joint Commission and state/federal standards.
• Cares for patients from age 2 to geriatric.
• Collaborate with surgeons and post‑acute caregivers for continuity of care.
• Schedule: Nights 3x shifts per week, variable.
