Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington in Texas is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for the Post Surgical Unit, Nights. The RN will provide comprehensive post-operative nursing care, manage pain, promote early ambulation, and coordinate with surgeons and post-acute teams to ensure a smooth patient recovery and discharge planning.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, Current Texas RN License, and BCLS/ACLS; PALS recommended.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for post-surgical patients in a fast-paced unit.
• Ensure high-quality, safe delivery of patient care in compliance with standards.
• Cares for patients from 2 years to geriatric age ranges.
• Collaborate with surgeons and post-acute caregivers for continuity of care.
• Assist with discharge readiness and patient education.

Education
