Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Non-Warranty Claims Specialist in Charlotte or Mooresville, NC, to manage post-shipment claims outside warranty, including freight damage, shortages, wrong shipments, returns, and pricing discrepancies. You will own claims from review to resolution, coordinating with customers, distributors, carriers, factories, and internal teams such as Quality and Shipping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in customer service or related roles.
• 2+ years using a computer to navigate multiple applications.
• 2+ years using Outlook for email, calendars, and invites.
• 2+ years using Excel to manage data.

Responsibilities

• Validate claim requests and collaborate with internal teams and external customers/distributors.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers, factories, and quality teams to resolve claims.
• Book and communicate credit or return information efficiently.
• Maintain clear and professional communication via email and phone with internal and external contacts.
• Provide outstanding customer service and support.
• Handle multiple tasks in a professional and efficient manner.
• Use SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, and MS Office tools to manage customer and claim data.
• Analyze customer needs and resolve issues by applying problem-solving skills.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of claim interactions and resolutions.
