Job summary

Scott & Associates, PC is a well-established, multi-state legal recoveries firm. A Post Judgment Legal Assistant is needed in Plano, TX to support enforcement activities under the Post Judgment Attorney.

The role involves reviewing files, generating enforcement documents, coordinating with courts and officers, and maintaining case data in the firm’s system. The position requires 2+ years in a legal setting and Paralegal certification or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant legal office experience or equivalent
• Paralegal certification or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to work with databases and online platforms
• Strong English language skills, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Review post-judgment files to determine enforcement actions
• Confirm information on assets/income prior to enforcement
• Generate enforcement documents per firm forms and policies
• Submit enforcement documents to courts or authorities
• Supervise and track enforcement processes and documents
• Enter enforcement data into the case management system
• Communicate with officers, courts, banks, employers, attorneys and consumers
• Import all enforcement imaging into the case system
