Job summary

Green Gold Group in Massachusetts is seeking a Post Harvest Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations of the Post Harvest Teams, including Packaging, Trimming, Pre-Roll Production, and Curing. You will ensure quality standards, SOPs, safety requirements, and production expectations are met.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to supervise a fast-paced team, and close collaboration with the Facilities Trainer to ensure proper training and compliance

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing Cannabis, agricultural, or similar environment.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and SOPs.
• Ability to accurately document weights, counts, timekeeping information, and production data.
• Massachusetts Cannabis regulations employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Post Harvest Teams to ensure quality control, productivity, and SOP adherence.
• Coordinate with Facilities Trainer to train employees on processes and equipment.
• Float between Packaging, Trimming, Pre-Roll Production, and Curing to provide staffing support.
• Communicate employee concerns and operational issues to the Post Harvest Manager.
• Review and approve timecards; address payroll-related issues.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, productivity, and policy compliance.
• Provide backup for Metrc bagging and sample processes as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized Packaging, Trimming, and Curing rooms.
• Ensure proper Cannabis handling per company policies and regulations.
• Train team members on equipment operation and handling across areas.
• Enforce uniform policy and PPE usage.
• Set daily production goals and monitor progress.
• Maintain production flow across Pre-Roll, Trimming, and Curing.
