Job summary

Expeditors in Laredo, TX is seeking a Brokerage Post Entry Agent to support post-entry operations with a focus on compliance, accuracy and customer service. The role requires coordinating with CBP, customers and internal teams to drive timely and accurate submissions.

You will monitor post-entry submissions, manage documentation, and participate in continuous improvement of processes and tools while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Customs Brokerage License preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in import brokerage.
• Experience interacting with government agencies.
• Certified Import Clearance Specialist Certifications (Internal).
• Customer Satisfaction oriented and proactive in customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels written and oral communication and presentations.
• Hands on knowledge of Post Entry Standard Processes (Preferred).
• Understanding of 19 CFR (Parts 1 – 199) and the HTSUSA.
• English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor post entry submissions and ensure compliance with brokerage imports standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with customers, operations, CEE, and CBP as appropriate.
• Manage Post Entry documentation and ensure it is updated and accessible.
• Identify opportunities to improve tools and procedures for efficiency, productivity and quality.
• Close out post entry projects with recaps and invoice customers accordingly.
• Maintain professional communication with internal and external customers.
