McMichael & Gray, PC is seeking a detail-oriented Post Closer in North Carolina to join our team. The role emphasizes organization, professional communication with clients by phone and email, and strict adherence to deadlines.

Responsibilities include reviewing signings, coordinating corrections with the closing attorney, scanning and mailing documents, and managing post-closing tasks such as title policies and final documents using SoftPro.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized, professional and team oriented.
• Strong communication via telephone and email is required.
• Excellent time management and attention to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review closing documents to ensure forms are signed, witnessed and notarized.
• Coordinate corrections with closing attorney as needed.
• Scan lender packages and mail/disbursements for files.
• Upload signed packages to lender portals.
• Mail checks to all parties for each transaction.
• Confirm recording costs before submission to record.
• Prepare transfer P-61 with deeds to record.
• Record required documents via eRecording.
• Receive recorded documents and mail to buyers and lenders.
• Scan recorded documents into SoftPro for title policy issuance.
• Post final title policies to SoftPro from 3rd party title companies.
• Mail final title policies and recorded documents.
• Respond to postclosing emails and title clearance requests.
