Job summary

Easy Street Capital, a private real estate lender in Austin, TX, seeks a detail-oriented specialist to manage post-closing mortgage documents, tracking, and custodian coordination. You will ensure original documents are received, logged, delivered, and reconciled with multiple stakeholders across loan sales and financing transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in mortgage post-closing, mortgage operations, document custody, collateral administration, title, closing, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with residential mortgage loan documents preferred, including Promissory Notes, Mortgages, Deeds of Trust, Assignments, Allonges, Title Insurance Policies, and Recorded Instruments.
• Experience working with title companies or closing agents preferred.
• Experience with mortgage post-closing or trailing document processes is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with a document custodian is a plus but not required.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to learn loan origination, servicing, collateral tracking, and document management systems.
