Job summary

Easy Street Capital in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to manage legal documentation and closing processes for mortgage loans. The role involves drafting and reviewing loan documents, coordinating with title companies, and ensuring accurate funding disbursements.

You will organize loan files, support wire transfers, and handle post-closing tasks, including regulatory research on STR and non-QM guidelines. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in mortgage loan closing, funding, or post-closing operations (preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of residential mortgage loan documents, settlement statements, and closing processes.
• Experience coordinating with title companies, notaries, and escrow officers.
• Familiarity with non-QM and/or investor guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft loan documents through approved platforms, review special situations with riders and unique loan structures.
• Review and reconcile settlement statements, closing costs, escrows, payoffs, and deposits.
• Coordinate closing with title companies, notaries, and escrow officers, ensuring smooth disbursements.
