Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in mortgage loan closing, funding, or post-closing operations.
• Strong knowledge of residential mortgage loan documents and closing processes.
• Experience coordinating with title companies, notaries, and escrow officers.
• Familiarity with non-QM or investor guidelines is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft loan documents using approved platforms; review riders and entities.
• Reconcile settlement statements, escrows, payoffs, and credits.
• Lead coordination with title companies for closing, notarizations, documents, and disbursements.
• Verify wiring instructions by phone; draft and submit wire disbursements.
• Send funding confirmation emails; record data in underwriting spreadsheets.
• Draft mortgage loan assignments, allonges, and endorsements; ensure proper recording.
• Organize loan files with professional naming and structures.
• Manage collateral: file reception, shipping to lenders, and digital uploads.
• Handle special legal/regulatory projects related to STR and non-QM needs.
