Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking Positive Support Specialists for our Intensive Community Residential Services in Adams, MN. You will work with individuals with complex medical and behavioral needs, using a person-centered approach to support goals and community participation.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, strong interpersonal skills, and a background check. Part-time shifts include 9am-3pm, with rotating weekends and holidays, providing an ALIVE, supportive work

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with diverse individuals.
• Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, or walk for long periods; able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in home and community activities within ICRS programs.
• Assist individuals to participate in meaningful events while ensuring safety and routine.
• Collaborate with team to implement person-centered plans and goals.
