Job summary

AccessCNY is seeking a Behavior Intervention Specialist to complete functional behavior assessments and write behavior intervention plans for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in residential services.

You will develop BSPs and MMPs, monitor and update plans, and provide crisis support while ensuring compliance with OPWDD regulations and collaborating with families and planning teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
• Minimum one year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavior support plans.
• LICENSURE: NYS BCBA/LBA preferred; licensure documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA).
• Develop Behavior Support Plans (BSP) and Medication Monitoring Plans (MMP).
• Maintain and update plans on at least an annual basis.
• Provide crisis prevention, intervention, and reporting.
• Ensure documentation complies with OPWDD regulations.
• Collaborate with families and planning teams.
