Zusammenfassung

AccessCNY, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Intervention Specialist to complete functional behavior assessments and write behavior intervention plans for adults with IDD in residential services. The role supports individuals to acquire communication, social, and daily living skills toward greater independence.

The position requires a Master’s degree in ABA or related field; NYS LBA/ BCBA licensure is preferred and licensure documentation is required. On-site work at East Syracuse.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in ABA or related field is required.
• NY State BCBA/LBA licensure preferred; licensure documentation required.

Aufgaben

• Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA).
• Write and implement Behavior Support Plans (BSP) and MMPs.
• Develop interventions across a range of behaviors per FBA outcomes.
• Maintain/update plans annually and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide situational counseling to participants, families, and teams.
• Respond to crises with prevention, intervention, and reporting.
