Job summary

Associated Grocers Baton Rouge is seeking a Computer Systems Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for retail team members needing technical assistance. You will troubleshoot POS systems and related tech, document requests, and assist senior staff to resolve complex issues to keep operations running smoothly.

You will educate users on POS systems, best practices, and provide on-call support while delivering strong customer service and contributing to a fantastic team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 2 years’ PC software/hardware experience.
• Experience with POS and payments systems at customer sites preferred.
• Familiarity with DOS/Windows OS and networks.

Responsibilities

• Consult with member stores to determine systems and software needs.
• Provide telephone and field technical support for retail systems.
• Install and configure software, operating systems, antivirus, cloud apps, networks at stores.
• Train users on software and systems.
• Create and maintain documentation for services performed.
