Job summary

Associated Grocers, Inc. seeks a Retail Systems Support Specialist I to be the first point of contact for retail team members needing technical assistance. You will troubleshoot POS systems and related tech while delivering outstanding customer service and documenting requests.

You will collaborate with senior staff, educate users on POS best practices, and help keep retail operations running smoothly. Competitive pay, weekly payroll, and a strong benefits package complete the role.

Qualifications

A. A. or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
2 years’ experience with PC software and hardware, including spreadsheets, databases, word processing, operating systems, networking, and scanning systems.
Experience supporting hardware/software, including POS and payments systems, at customer sites is desirable.

Responsibilities

Consult with member stores to determine their systems and software needs.
Provide telephone and field technical support and hardware repair for retail systems customers.
Install and set up software, register systems, operating systems, and networks, including cabling at member stores.
