Job summary

SpotOn is seeking an Installation Specialist to prepare and execute POS installations for restaurant sites. You will perform virtual site surveys, verify wiring and network readiness, and provide on-site installation and staff training.

Prospective hires should have strong networking knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and prior POS deployment experience in multi-site environments. Travel to client locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of restaurant and/or technical support experience preferred.
• Experience in fintech or SaaS environments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual site surveys and assess readiness of wiring, networking, and internet performance.
• Install and configure POS hardware, cabling, and connectivity; deliver staff training on site.
• Lead QA by following SOPs, SLAs, and checklists; document outcomes for consistency.
• Travel regularly to client sites and collaborate with PMs, technicians, and engineering for successful installations.
