Job summary

SpotOn is hiring an Installation Specialist to prepare restaurant sites for POS installations through virtual assessments, on-site readiness checks, and installation execution. You will troubleshoot infrastructure issues, mentor junior specialists, and drive process improvements.

The role requires deep restaurant operations knowledge, strong networking skills, and hands-on experience with POS systems across multi-site deployments. Frequent travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of restaurant and/or technical support experience.
• Experience in fintech or SaaS environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual site surveys and validate readiness of electrical/internet infrastructure.
• Install and configure POS hardware, perform cabling and connectivity setup, and deliver staff training.
• Travel regularly to client sites to ensure installation success and client adoption.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure quality by following SOPs and SLAs.
• Mentor junior specialists and share knowledge to improve processes.
