Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is hiring for a store team member in Cottonwood, AZ. You will lead an excellent customer and brand experience, run registers, and help maintain sales floor standards.

Responsibilities include POS processing, assisting customers, pricing goods, closing procedures, and upholding safety and cleanliness. The role requires English proficiency, at least 16 years old, and may include background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs POS responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods via merchandise type, markings, or help from a leader.
• Completes closing procedures, as necessary.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Greets customers that enter the store and thanks customers leaving.
• Maintains sales floor per floorwork and PPM standards.
• Stocks merchandise in the appropriate area as assigned.
• Uses phones and paging systems to make regularly scheduled announcements.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
