Serco Inc. in Middletown, RI seeks a Project Manager to lead the PORTS program with Navy clients, coordinating between the Program Manager, customer, and project team to deliver high-quality, on-time solutions.

Requires DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 5+ years of management including P&L, and experience with software development projects; travel up to 10%. Strong MS Office and MS Project skills are essential.

Qualificações

• US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiar with software development projects.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
