Job summary

Serco Inc. in Middletown, Rhode Island seeks a Project Manager to lead PORTS program efforts supporting Navy training systems. You will coordinate with the Program Manager, customer, and project team to ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility, a STEM/management degree, 5+ years of management experience, and familiarity with software development projects. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including P&L.
• Familiar with software development projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing PORTS projects and liaison between Program Manager, customer, and project team.
• Review project status, budgets, schedules, and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items per DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on status.
• Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity and client-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
