Job summary

Arizona Financial Credit Union in Phoenix seeks a Director of Portfolio Management to lead the commercial loan portfolio, strengthen risk monitoring, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will oversee credit analysis, renewals, servicing, and portfolio reporting, partnering with Commercial Lending, Credit Administration, and senior leadership to drive prudent decisions and a high-performing credit culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related field required.
Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible commercial lending, portfolio management or credit risk management experience, with at least seven (7) years in commercial portfolio management.

Responsibilities

Oversee portfolio strategy, risk oversight and reporting to identify and manage credit risk.
Prepare and present credit summaries and recommendations for renewals, extensions and changes in terms.
Monitor covenant compliance, documentation, and collateral, ensuring alignment with policy.
Lead portfolio management staff and improve processes for audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
