Job summary

Bankers Trust Co. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Commercial Portfolio Manager III to assist Commercial Relationship Managers by underwriting credit requests and performing due diligence in line with lending objectives.

You will monitor portfolios, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, engage with clients and industry specialists, and present to the Senior Loan Committee. This is a full-time, hybrid role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Accounting or Finance required.
• At least six years of relevant commercial credit experience required.
• Ability to research and understand commercial lending regulations; strong credit analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Commercial Relationship Managers by underwriting the credit request and obtaining information from client.
• Underwrite credit and develop appropriate credit structure in relation to risk.
• Monitor portfolio with financial tracking and annual reviews.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
• Participate in meetings with clients and internal teams to discuss work in process and reviews.
• Present to Senior Loan Committee and support decision making.
