Indypay Technologies is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager for a 6 to 12-month interim role supporting a strategic IT/mining initiative. You will oversee complex portfolios across global operations, guiding governance and value delivery in a heavily matrixed environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in enterprise IT portfolio management, with expertise in ERP/OT-IT integration and digital mining solutions, and can operate remotely from India or South Africa.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in program or portfolio management overseeing enterprise IT initiatives.
• Experience managing IT/technology portfolios in Mining/Resources/Heavy Industrial sectors.
• Interim/contract roles with ability to rapidly establish portfolio structure and governance.
• Experience with ERP, OT/IT integration, digital mining solutions, or modernization projects.
• Remote work preferred, based in India or South Africa.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and align IT and digital transformation project portfolios with client goals across global operations.
• Serve as primary liaison between executive leadership, mining units, and IT delivery teams.
• Manage portfolio budgets, resources, and risk across multiple workstreams.
• Implement metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to track progress, budget, and ROI.
• Partner with vendors and internal leaders to ensure timely, quality deliverables.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager for a 6 to 12-month interim engagement supporting a high-impact initiative within the IT/Mining domain. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of managing complex portfolios of technology and operational projects in heavily matrixed environments, with deep domain expertise in the mining or heavy industrial technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Governance & Alignment: Oversee and align the strategic execution of IT and digital transformation project portfolios with client business goals across global operations.

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, operational mining units, and IT delivery teams to ensure clear communication and milestone alignment.

Resource & Capacity Management: Manage portfolio budget allocation, resource deployment, and risk mitigation strategies across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Performance Tracking: Implement robust metrics, KPIs, and dashboard reporting to track program progress, budget adherence, and ROI.

• Vendor & Sponsor Management:

Partner with third-party vendors and internal business leaders to ensure quality deliverables within defined timelines.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Domain Expertise: Proven experience managing IT/Technology project portfolios within the Mining, Resources, or Heavy Industrial sectors.

Track Record: 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in Program or Portfolio Management overseeing enterprise-level IT initiatives.

Contract/Interim Experience: Proven capability to step into interim roles and rapidly drive portfolio structure, momentum, and governance.

Technical & Strategic Scope: Experience with enterprise solutions (ERP, OT/IT integration, digital mining solutions, or infrastructure modernization). Location: Remote, based in India or South Africa (preferred).
