Job summary

Elderly Housing Development and Operations Corporation seeks a Regional Manager to direct operations across a portfolio of senior affordable housing communities. You will mentor site staff, ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, and related programs, and drive occupancy, budgeting and market strategies.

This role requires extensive travel (75%) and a proven track record managing multiple communities with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years’ experience in affordable housing including HUD/LIHTC/PRAC required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays.
• Experience with RealPage OneSite Leasing & Rents Software.
• Certifications in HCCP, COS and HUD desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct operations of the assigned portfolio of communities.
• Supervise Community Managers and on-site staff.
• Participate in hiring/termination decisions for site staff.
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD and related regulations.
• Review budgets, occupancy, and marketing plans for performance.
• Attend management reviews with agencies, lenders and partners.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on policy compliance.
• Maintain high occupancy and curb appeal across properties.
