Job summary

JLL is seeking a General Manager for a Houston portfolio, responsible for full operational and financial oversight. You will lead high‑performing property teams, nurture client relationships, and drive strategic initiatives to realize the investment visions of our clients.

The role requires travel to sites and on‑call availability. This hybrid position combines on‑site leadership 1–2 days per week with remote work as needed, and focuses on delivering measurable results within a world‑class real

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial real estate, property management, or related industry.
• Proven track record of managing P&L responsibility and achieving financial targets in a multi-million dollar operation.
• Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management and business development within the commercial real estate sector.
• Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in real estate management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning initiatives and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
• Develop and implement annual operating budgets and capital plans; ensure timely monthly reporting and strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and safety standards across all managed operations.
• Implement tenant satisfaction programs and meet regularly with tenants to ensure success.
• Oversee competitive bidding for third-party services and ensure adherence to JLL standards.
• Foster a culture of learning and professional development across the team.
