Qualifications

• HVAC certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing/electrical and general maintenance systems.
• Experience in project management, facility management or similar roles.
• Prior experience leading/supervising engineers or maintenance staff across multiple properties.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across a portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of roving building engineers across multiple properties, including scheduling and day-to-day supervision.
• Set and enforce engineering standards, preventive maintenance programs, and safety protocols.
• Travel regularly across properties to inspect work quality and address escalations.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance work across the portfolio; step in hands-on when needed.
• Develop engineering staff and foster a consistent team culture across a distributed workforce.
• Report on team performance, property conditions, and maintenance priorities to ownership and senior management.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for urgent building systems issues.
