Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Menlo Park, CA seeks a Sr. Engineering Ops Manager to lead a team overseeing complex mechanical operations across nine campuses totaling ~9 million sq ft. This role is onsite with travel to Bay Area locations and occasional trips to Los Angeles.

You will drive preventative maintenance programs, manage budgets, coordinate with client stakeholders, and champion CBRE's standards and RISE values while ensuring reliable operations and performance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred; 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop and motivate teams across multi-site portfolio.
• Experience managing budgets for campuses or portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and development for a team of engineering professionals; oversee recruitment and retention.
• Direct and coordinate daily engineering and maintenance operations across a multi-site portfolio.
• Oversee contractors and service providers to ensure safety, quality, and SLAs.
• Manage facility controls, building automation, and asset management platforms.
• Lead sourcing, procurement, and bid evaluations; manage maintenance contracts.
