Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Massachusetts seeks a Chief Engineer to oversee maintenance and construction across a campus-like set of buildings. You will schedule staff, establish standards, run site evaluations, and manage inventory and budgets while coordinating with the account manager on safety trainings.

You should have 10+ years in building engineering, with strong MEP, HVAC and DDC knowledge, and the ability to lead a multi-location team and maintain client relations.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in building engineering or equivalent leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of commercial office building MEP systems and building automation.
• Ability to read complex drawings, schematics and ladder diagrams.
• Availability for after-hours calls and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and construction activities across multiple buildings.
• Schedule and supervise a multi-trade maintenance team.
• Ensure safety trainings are completed on time and procedures followed.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and manage inventory and budgets.
• Review blueprints and oversee installation of MEP and fire alarm systems.
• Maintain customer relations and communicate project status to ownership.
