Job summary

Plain Concepts is seeking a Portfolio Director with a strong technical background and strategic mindset to lead high-performing teams in technology consulting. You will drive delivery excellence, grow strategic accounts, and own key client relationships across national and international engagements.

Responsibilities include leading technical and operational strategy, driving account growth, coordinating 30–60 professionals, and presenting compelling proposals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology environments.
• At least 5 years leading large engineering, delivery, or consulting teams.
• Experience in a technology consulting or services company (mandatory).
• Proven track record in account farming, client growth, and business development.
• Strong technical background in software engineering and web technologies, combined with experience in Cloud, AI, or Data platforms.
• Experience managing complex programs and international clients.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical and operational strategy for strategic client accounts, ensuring quality, business value, and successful delivery.
• Drive account growth by identifying new opportunities, shaping innovative solutions, and expanding existing client relationships.
• Lead and coordinate teams of 30-60 professionals, including managers and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Ensure delivery excellence across projects involving Cloud, AI, Big Data, and Microsoft technologies.
• Own the definition and presentation of proposals, acting as a key business and technical partner for clients.
• Build long-term client relationships based on trust, value creation, and strategic alignment.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and continuous improvement.
