Beacon Bank & Trust in Providence, RI, is seeking the Head of Portfolio & Credit Administration to lead commercial credit and portfolio teams across Middle Market, CRE and Business Banking. You will drive consistent processes, ensure loan compliance, and manage reporting and audits while partnering with relationship managers and administrators.

The role requires 10+ years of credit and portfolio experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of banking systems.

Qualifications

10+ years Commercial Credit and Portfolio Administration management and underwriting/analysis experience.
Ability to drive process improvement with procedures and job aids.
Collaborative leader with strong relationship-building skills.
Strong knowledge of commercial banking products and documentation.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of Commercial Credit Analysis and Commercial Administrative Portfolio Managers.
Oversee coaching, mentoring and development of staff.
Underwrite new credit requests and modifications as needed.
Oversee portfolio reporting of financial statements, covenant tests and annual reviews.
Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and audit findings.
