Job summary

Action Property Management seeks an experienced Portfolio Community Manager I to oversee a portfolio of homeowner associations, partnering with boards, homeowners, and vendors to ensure smooth operation and exceptional service.

You will manage day‑to‑day HOA operations, guide board decisions, monitor budgets, coordinate vendors, respond to inquiries, and prepare governance materials. This role requires evening availability and travel to properties as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of HOA portfolio management experience.
• CMCA certification or the ability to obtain within your first 6 months of employment.
• Evening availability for Board meetings.
• Ability to travel to and from your property for in-person meetings when needed.
• Keen knowledge of budgets and the budgeting process.
• Strong knowledge of audits, reserve studies, bidding process, and Association governing documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Exceptional time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to following up on all issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned homeowner associations.
• Build strong relationships with Board members, provide guidance on community matters, and assist with implementing Board decisions.
• Assist with developing and monitoring association budgets, reviewing financial statements, and supporting responsible financial management.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors, obtain proposals, monitor service performance, and ensure timely completion of maintenance and improvement projects.
• Respond to homeowner inquiries, resolve concerns professionally, and promote a positive community experience.
• Prepare Board meeting agendas and management reports, attend meetings, and coordinate follow-up on action items.
• Support enforcement of community rules, governing documents, and applicable regulations while maintaining accurate association records.
