Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly, VA seeks a Portfolio Architect & Enterprise Systems Engineer to support portfolio analysis, digital engineering, and system‑of‑systems engineering for government customers.

Requires 4+ years in systems engineering, MBSE/digital engineering experience, and proficiency with SysML. On‑site role with some travel; TS clearance preferred. Competitive salary and relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, science, or a related technical discipline.
4+ years of experience in systems engineering or related engineering disciplines.
Experience with MBSE and digital engineering.
Familiarity with SysML and architecture frameworks such as DoDAF or UAF.

Responsibilities

Provide enterprise engineering and analytical support to customers in portfolio management, digital engineering, and system‑of‑systems engineering.
Engage with Aerospace program office personnel and government customers.
Support deployment or implementation of tools, models, and frameworks.
Identify capabilities and enhancements to support customer programs.
Initiate studies to solve complex problems and deliver technical solutions.
Inform management of technical problems and recommend actions.
Lead studies and provide recommendations to customers.
Provide ongoing technical consultation to management, customers, and contractors.
