Job summary

SAIC in Chantilly, VA, seeks a Digital Systems Engineer to lead digital engineering efforts and MBSE across a prime program for the NRO GED. You will shape the SPO's DE/MBSE approach, communicate with government and SETA teams, and define capabilities for mission operations.

The role requires expertise in modeling, strategic planning, system integration, and system-of-systems design, with experience in DoDAF/UAF and MBSE tools. Top Secret/SCI clearance with poly is required.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly is required.
Experience with Digital Engineering and MBSE tools.
Experience with agile development methodologies (Agile, DevSecOps).
Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
Program lifecycle experience from concept to deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Provides technical leadership applying Digital Engineering concepts to plan capabilities for mission operations.
Analyzes user needs and high-level architectures to develop system requirements.
Identifies and communicates risks, issues, opportunities, and dependencies.
Provides technical support to government points of contact.
Initiates MBSE efforts and interfaces with engineers from contractors and government.
Develops assessments and briefings conveying system engineering concepts clearly.
Applies DoDAF and UAF EA frameworks and MBSE architecture tools.
