Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Porter Supervisor to oversee inventory, ordering, receiving, and overall staff supervision for the Culinary and Food & Beverage teams. The role coordinates perishable and non-perishable resources, ensures food safety practices, and handles event setup logistics.

Responsibilities include managing purchasing, payroll, scheduling, vendor relations, and backstock deliveries, while maintaining safety and quality standards across the campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of inventory experience.
• 2+ years of restaurant or retail food service experience.
• 1+ years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Take on hand inventories, and place orders for all concept areas of Culinary food services.
• Receive and check in deliveries from vendors daily.
• Set and enforce standards of ordering and receiving operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory of product for all departmental areas.
• Creating awareness with Kitchen teams regarding inaccuracies with product delivery.
• Work with culinary team to ensure best product/vendor selection.
• Monitor and track department spending by vendor.
• Reconcile invoicing, and submit purchase orders for food and equipment vendors.
• Satisfy interdepartmental requests through our internal request system.
• Manage porters for site support, food deliveries, and the cleanliness of surrounding areas.
• Manage dishwashers for kitchen support and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and attendance for team.
• Annual staff reviews and ongoing coaching and development.
• Maintain staff training and credentials are up to date.
• Supervise water, ice, and supply backstock deliveries around campus.
• Support internal delivery of supplies for daily operations and events.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment for team.
• Monitor and support equipment and asset management/preventative maintenance.
• Support daily services and other tasks as directed by management.
