Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis is seeking a Porter Supervisor to lead inventory, ordering, receiving, and staffing for Culinary food services. You will oversee payroll, scheduling, and staff development while ensuring safety and cleanliness across operations.

The role involves heavy lifting, event support, and cross-team coordination to keep our food service areas well stocked for daily operations and special events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of inventory experience.
• 2+ years of restaurant or retail food service.
• 1+ years of leadership experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-hand inventories and place orders for all concept areas of Culinary food services.
• Receive and inspect deliveries from vendors daily.
• Set and enforce standards for ordering and receiving operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for all departmental areas.
• Create awareness among kitchen teams regarding inaccuracies in product deliveries.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure optimal product and vendor selection.
• Monitor and track departmental spending by vendor.
• Reconcile invoices and submit purchase orders for food and equipment vendors.
• Manage porters to provide site support, handle food deliveries, and maintain cleanliness of surrounding areas.
• Support events and operations by moving equipment, setting up, and resetting event spaces.
